The man called Buddah

harryscope,com
Am indeed sure that you must have heard of a great man who founded the Buddhist religion? His name is Guatam Buddah.

His name cannot easily be forgotten, he was a great man and not only that, but a man of compassion and love.

This great man comes from a royal home and there was a mystery behind his birth. According to the ancient tradition, the mother called Queen Maya in her dream saw a beautiful white horse coming down into her womb. As been interpreted, it was a sign that a Buddah or world emperor was about to be born. When it was time for Queen Maya to give birth, she went into a garden and without pains she gave birth.
The king was happy and felt as if his wishes had come true and he called the child Siddhartha.
A Brahim seer made a prediction about the future of the prince. “There are signs that the boy could become either a Chakravatin King, a ruler of the entire world, or a fully enlightened Buddah. However,… it is certain that he will become a Buddah and that his beneficial influence will pervade the thousand million worlds like the rays of the sun”.

Like I said, he was compassionate and loving. He chooses not to be a king in the palace. Sometimes, he would go into the city of his father’s kingdom to see the welfare of the people. Most times, he came across the old, sick and beggarly looking people. And on one occasion, he saw a corpse. The sight of all these greatly touched him-he felt for the suffering of the people, he had a sincere wish to help the people and bring them out of their sufferings.

Having the realization that he was a destined child, he made up his mind and just like Moses did in the Holy Bible, he left the palace and all the riches in it and went into a lonely forest, where he could be able to meditate in order to attain the height a full enlightened Buddah.

What do you learn here? Most times, we abandon and neglect our true self and most people don’t have an idea of why they were brought to this world.

The world truly would be a better place if every man or woman, boy or girl could see the need to help each other.

Definitely, you don’t have to become the world’s richest person before you can positively touch the lives of people. In just a little way you can shake the world.

Buddah was a prince by birth but never shake the world with royal power or wealth but with his divine wisdom and power he was able to touch the world.
i just found out from life experience that for one to get to the peak of the mountain, one must drop anything that tends to be a burden.

You have a great destiny to fulfill and why do still sit in your comfort zone feeling less concerned? It’s time you start thinking of accomplishing your destiny. Don’t wait until it is late. Lateness can be dangerous.

Below are few great quotes from this great man, Buddah

“All wrong-doing arises because of mind. If mind is transformed can wrong-doing remain”?

“Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace”

“Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love: this is eternal rule”

“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it outside”

“The mind is everything. What you think you become”

“In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west; people create distinctions out of their own minds and then believe them to be true”

“To live a pure unselfish life, one must count nothing as one’s own in the midst of abundance”

“Work out your own salvation. Do not depend on others”

Thanks for reading and I believe you have learnt something.
